ALDI Comes to Southern California!

This post was sponsored by ALDI as part of Influencer Activation for Influence Central.

For a while now, I’ve been hearing about this grocery chain called ALDI – mainly that they sell really good quality meat for really low prices. I saw Pinterest posts, Facebook posts, and news articles all about how great this grocery store was, but I’d never actually been to one! So you can imagine how excited I was when I found out ALDI was coming to Southern California!

ALDI has been successfully growing in the US for 40 years. They currently operate more than 1,500 stores in 34 states, and serve 32 million customers each month. Now, they’ve expanded to California, and have opened 25 new stores! I know Southern Californians are going to love the way ALDI saves green (both the earth, and your dollars!). Because after all, to know ALDI is to love ALDI.

The first difference I noticed at ALDI is their cart rental system. They ask shoppers to rent a cart for a quarter in order to cut back on hidden costs and pass on the savings to customers (you get the quarter back when you return your cart).

Next, I noticed that my local ALDI was much smaller than a “traditional” supermarket. That’s because more than 90 percent of the groceries that ALDI sells are under its own premium exclusive brands – all of which are free of certified synthetic colors, partially hydrogenated oils (PHOs) and added MSG – and all of which are DELICIOUS! ALDI regularly tests its exclusive products in the ALDI Test Kitchen in order to make sure the quality and taste are just as good, if not better, than the national brands.

Look at all this great food that I got! At ALDI you can get fresh meat, bread, dairy, produce, and household items priced at up to 50 percent less than at other grocery stores! Additionally, ALDI offers its SimplyNature® line which includes USDA Certified organic and Non-GMO verified items, liveGfree® gluten-free products, USDA Choice meats and NeverAny! products that are free from added antibiotics, hormones and animal by-products.

As I mentioned before, ALDI has opened 25 stores in the Southern California area. Stay tuned to or the ALDI USA Facebook page for the latest updates on ALDI.
