DIY Mardi Gras Mask Wreath

Mardi-Gras-Mask-Wreath

Happy Mardi Gras, y’all. I think I like Mardi Gras so much because I love the three main colors: purple (of course), green, and yellow. I found all these masks at Dollar Tree and I decided to make a cool Mardi Gras mask wreath out of them.

The gold and purple wreaths came individually, and the green masks came in a six pack (2 green, 2 purple, 2 gold Mardi Gras masks in the pack) – so my total came out to about $5 for the whole wreath.

This doesn’t include the E6000 glue that I used to glue them all together. I think I’ve said this before, but E6000 is seriously the best glue for gluing anything to anything – it’s so strong!

DIY-Mardi-Gras-Mask-WreathOne of these days I’m definitely going to throw a Mardi Gras party. I seriously have so many Mardi Gras decorations, but I’ve never actually gone to a Mardi Gras celebration.

And this awesome Mardi Gras mask wreath will be right on my front door. I feel bad because Mardi Gras is so close to Valentine’s Day, that I always keep my Valentine’s Day decorations up too long, and then no one ever sees my cool Mardi Gras decorations. At least the mail man saw my Mardi Gras wreath today!

So, not counting the time it took for the glue to dry, this mask wreath took me about 5 minutes to assemble. And just $5 in materials from Dollar Tree – you really can’t beat that.

Enjoy Mardi Gras, and let me know if you try making a Mardi Gras mask wreath for yourself!

Absolutely creative and really special. My friend who is from northern Florida loves Mardi Gras and attends each year; she’s even a Fernandina (Beach) Pirate. She will fall in love with this! Thank you for sharing!
